How Pynwheel setup works: no implementation project required
Getting an interactive property map, leasing touchscreen or self-guided tour app for your apartment community shouldn’t feel like a second job. You submit two things, we do the rest, and we introduce you to everything on a quick launch call. Here’s exactly what happens.

Pynwheel Launch invite + launch call
You’ll get an invitation to Pynwheel Launch, our setup portal, and an invitation to a launch call, where we walk you through it. (It’s super easy. Promise.)
Submit your two things
Submit your PMS credentials and your property map in Pynwheel Launch. Floor plans and unit data come straight from your data feed.
Images & logos
We use your images and logos on every product, including Pynwheel Map. Upload them to Pynwheel Launch, or if they’re on your website, we’ll take them from there.
Review & production
Our production team reviews and approves your content, then production begins: 5 days for Pynwheel Map, typically 2–4 weeks for Touch and Tour.
Hardware & locks (Touch and Tour)
Touchscreens and smart locks ship after payment, and we schedule installation through our third-party installation network. For Pynwheel Tour, we import your locks after they’re installed.
Launch & training
Your team gets a short tutorial on your system: Pynwheel Connect plus your Map, Touch or Tour. Questions or updates later? Pynwheel Support responds within one business day.
